Service Description
Invite your friends or colleagues to a pottery painting event and spark their creativity! Whether it’s a memorable hen-do with lasting keepsakes, a calming wellbeing afternoon, an engaging team-building exercise, or a standout event, Glazing Waves has got you covered. Your host will ensure your creative event runs seamlessly at your chosen venue, be it your office or a vibrant location, at a time that’s convenient for you. We’ll bring your selected pottery, a wide range of underglaze colours, paint brushes, pallets, and offer 3 hours of guidance to help your budding artists craft their masterpieces! We only require tables and chairs for your attendees, an additional table for the glaze and tools, a sink with running water, and a parking space. Your host will be available for 3 hours, catering to all your creative needs and leaving the venue spotless afterwards. Cancellation Policy
Glazing Waves offers pottery painting events that last for up to 3 hours. A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required to book a private event. The minimum event size is 8 pieces of pottery, priced individually. The event will be staffed according to your numbers and requirements, plus travel expenses if applicable. If underglaze is used, the pieces will be glazed, fired, and ready to be returned within 2 weeks - local hand-delivery or a postal service will be quoted depending on location. For children’s parties/events (recommended age 4+ years), a responsible adult must be present throughout the booking. If more than 10 children attend, at least two responsible adults are required. The responsible adult assumes sole responsibility of behaviour, health and wellbeing, including (but not limited to) direct health concerns with the craft products or equipment in use for the children attending the party. A £60 non-refundable deposit is required for event bookings. If you need to amend the numbers attending, a refund will be provided for the pottery that is no longer needed, given 24hrs notice. Minimum number of pottery pieces remain 8. The remaining booking fee payment is due 48 hours in advance. If you need to cancel or change the date of your booking, 48 hrs notice is required for a refund on the pottery items. All underglazes, glazes, and paints used by Glazing Waves are water-soluble. The purchaser agrees to assume all liabilities for any damages resulting from the use, misuse, or accidental spillage of our products. The event/party organizer is responsible for returning the venue to its original state.
